1. Cloudy (Unclarified) Apple Juice

While most consumers prefer the clear version of apple juice as it’s more attractive, the cloudy variation, which has more pulp, contains raw compounds that can help stave off health risks such as Alzheimer’s disease and heart attacks. These compounds include polyphenols, an antioxidant, amongst many others.

Recipe for making cloudy apple juice:

Requirements:
1 large pan,
2 large bowls,
A sieve,
5 large pieces of apples,
3 liters of water.

Procedure:

Red apple1. Chop each apple into slices but leave out the core with its seeds. Do not remove the skin as it contains essential nutrients.

2. Put the chopped pieces on the large pan and cover it with water. Do not, however, fill the pan to the brim so as to leave room for the boiling.

3. Simmer the mixture for about 30 minutes.

4. Remove the mixture from the heat and proceed to mash up the mixture till it forms a thick, even soup.

5. Sieve the mixture and place the resulting juice in a clean bowl. Ensure your sieve has relatively large holes to allow the thick soup to pass through while retaining solid parts.

6. Place the pulp and in a separate bowl.

7. Add a little sugar in the resulting juice, stir it and allow it to cool.

The juice can be served with other meals or taken as a beverage during the tea break.




2. The Clear Type of Apple Juice

The clear type of apple juice recipe is admittedly lighter and pleasantly sweeter than the cloudy variation. Solids and pectin are usually filtered out to make the juice clear than the misty type.

To make this apple juice variation, you will need to invest in equipment that filters out the solids and pectin to give it the attractive, clear appearance.

Make Clear Apple Juice

Recipe for clear apple juice variation:

Requirements:

2 large bowls,
A sieve,
5 large pieces of apples,
3 liters of water.

3. Classic Green Apple Juice

Green Apple JuiceRequirements
– 2 medium sized green apples.
– ½ cup water.
– 2 stalks of celery or 2/3 cucumber.
– 2 teaspoonful of honey.
– Blender
– A large bowl
– Nut milk bag

Procedure:
1. Wash your apples and the celery stocks and wipe them dry.

2. Cut the apples into quarters and remove their core. Cut the celery stocks into medium sizes- you can use cucumber in place of celery stocks.

3. Put the apples and the celery into the blender and add water into the mixture.

4. Proceed to blend the mixture until it turns into a fine puree.

5. Strain the juice out using a strainer lined with a nut milk bug. Place the juice in a clean bowl.

6. Add honey to your liking and stir the mixture using a spoon. Your drink is now ready for consumption.
